 We would like to welcome Dr. 佩吉·莫兰, the new Director of the 音乐学院! Dr. Moran joins ISU from the University of Central Oklahoma 音乐学院, where she was Assistant Director. She is also the Executive Director at Cormont 音乐, a non-profit organization that runs the Kendall Betts Horn Camp, a premiere summer learning program for horn players in New Hampshire. Dr. Moran has performed in orchestras, 室内乐, and solo recitals with leading ensembles such as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Louisville Orchestra, and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Committed to commissioning and performing music from a diverse set of composers, she founded the group Corni Angelicus, an ensemble of four horns and a rhythm section that has performed new music throughout the Midwest. Dr. Moran has a Bachelor’s degree in 音乐 from the University of Chicago, and Master of 音乐 and a Doctorate of 音乐 degrees from Indiana University Bloomington. |
